WHO WE ARE

Changing the Lives of Children in Foster Care, One Family at a Time

Every kid deserves a childhood free of abuse and neglect within a family that offers love, stability, and safety. FosterAdopt Connect actively monitors the changing needs of children in foster and adoptive care within the community to identify gaps in available services. To fill these gaps, we search nationally and internationally for best practices to implement and, if none are available, we create innovative solutions to improve outcomes for the children and families we serve.

OUR IMPACT

Positive Impact in Your Community

FosterAdopt Connect’s programs and services result in positive change for those who need it the most. Through innovation and dedication, we walk hand-in-hand with children and families to ensure they’re heard as they navigate uncertainty.

✨ Meet Jade, who, despite the odds, graduated from college. A feat that only 3% of former foster youth accomplish.

Jade entered foster care at age 10 and continued until she aged out at 18. She moved repeatedly between homes in Wichita and Hutchinson, KS. At 17, Jade met Margi Nisly through our Community Connections YouThrive (CCYT) program. The program became a turning point. It provided practical support as she prepared for adulthood—helping her navigate finances, independence, and the transition toward college.

She recently graduated from Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, officially walking in her commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Now she is pursuing a master’s degree in special education with a focus on K–6 teaching, driven by a desire to support children in ways she once needed support herself.

Help us congratulate Jade on this massive achievement, and cheer her on as she continues her education! 🎓
