FosterAdopt Connect actively monitors the changing needs of children in foster and adoptive care within the community to identify gaps in available services. To fill these gaps, we search nationally and internationally for best practices to implement and, if none are available, we create innovative solutions to improve outcomes for the children and families we serve.

💙 A HUGE thank you to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and The Kansas City Royals Foundation for choosing FosterAdopt Connect as the recipient of the Blue KC Shut Out the Stigma donation for the month of July, 2026! Blue KC will make a donation of $4,710 (157 total innings x $30 per inning) and we could not be more grateful for their generosity!
Shut Out the Stigma has a mission to invest in community efforts that support one's behavioral health. Through Shut Out the Stigma, Blue KC and the KC Royals want you to know that it's okay to reach out for help and share your behavioral health concerns. These issues can affect anyone, so they want to raise awareness of the resources available to help those in our communities who need them.
