Leading the way with bold vision, FosterAdopt Connect’s board and staff approved an aggressive five year plan that expands our essential programs into SWMO to serve the growing number of children and families waiting for services.
Through generous gifts from the Hulston Family Foundation, Bill and Virginia Darr, and other fundraising efforts, we purchased our current building in December 2018.
New Horizons — Progress for Kids
Acknowledging the growing program waitlists and the limitation of our current space for expansion, we will undertake a much needed building renovation. Creating spaces that are welcoming and safe and that have access to supportive services is invaluable to youth and foster families.
FosterAdopt Connect’s Cheri Carter Clark Resource Center $1,560,000 campaign will:
Maximize space and utility of offices
Upgrade Sammy’s Window clothing closet
Add a larger food pantry to Sammy’s Window
Enlarge our community training facility
Add Kinship Navigator program
Increase the number of kids served in recruitment programs
Expand Sammy’s Window service area
Broaden rapid rehousing opportunities for youth
