We understand the holidays can be a time of stress and anxiety for foster and adoptive families, and we're here to help!
How does it work? After you fill out an application, FosterAdopt Connect will pair you with a generous donor who will pick out presents for your family. It is important you read the guidelines and follow all instructions so that we are able to process your application.
You will receive a postcard in the mail approximately 10-15 days after you submit your application with the distribution date and location.
For additional information, please contact Vonda Sirls.
Our family application is no longer available; it is available annually during the month of October. If you have questions, please call 816-350-0215.
Give the gift of hope this holiday season!
When you participate in our Adopt-a-Family program, you will provide more than a gift: you will empower children who experienced abuse and neglect with special holiday memories. Foster and adopted children experience unique struggles during the holiday season - this program allows you to impact their lives during a vulnerable time.
How does it work? FosterAdopt Connect matches you or your business with a foster/adoptive family or child(ren) in need of assistance, and then you will receive their gift requests. You could also choose to host a Giving Tree or hold a gift drive. Our donor form will provide additional information (click the green button below).
In October you will be matched as soon as a family meeting your preferences turns in an application, and then it's time to shop! Gift drop offs are scheduled for Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8; more information will be available once you are paired.
Thank you for serving foster and adopted youth this holiday season! Each family FosterAdopt Connect pairs with a donor is making the ultimate commitment to our future by caring for our community's abused and neglected children. We sincerely appreciate the many people and organizations who help provide happy holidays for foster and adoptive families.
